Kerala University College of Teacher Education,Nedumangad is one among the prestigious Teacher education colleges run by University of Kerala. The college started functioning in 1994 at Olathanni and shifted to Nedumangad in 2004 keeping in mind the backwardness of this area. Nedumangad is a place where the adivasees , backward communities, and minority communities share the major portion of the society. The campus is situated at a natural setting in Mancha near Nedumangad town. The scenic beauty makes the campus an ideal place for education.Though only one Km away from Nedumangad town,the campus is not affected by the disturbances that may be caused by the traffic and other aspects of an otherwise busy township.

The Kerala University College of Teacher Education ,Nedumangad is located at 22 kms East of Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, 1 Km East of Nedumangad town at Nedumangad–Kattakada road and 1 Km South of Nedumangad town at Nedumangad–Aruvikkara road.

Now the college is running with 50 Students in  Five Optionals- English, Hindi, Natural Science,Physical Science and Social Science. There are the Principal and 9 members in the teaching faculty and 5 non-teaching staff in the office, all are appointed as per NCTE norms.
